Made for your space
Commissions
Patricia takes on a small number of commissioned works each year — a piece made with your space, your colours and your story in mind.
A commission is a conversation before it is a painting.
Patricia does not work from a photograph you send her and hand back a copy. What she makes is her own work, made in her own language, shaped by what you tell her matters. That is the whole reason to commission an artist rather than order a picture.
Because of that, not every enquiry becomes a commission — and that is deliberate. She takes on the pieces she can give proper attention to.
- 01
You write
Tell Patricia about the space, the scale, the colours you are drawn to and what you would like the piece to carry.
- 02
You talk
If it is a fit, Patricia arranges a conversation. This is where scale, materials, price and timeline are worked out properly.
- 03
She paints
Work begins once the terms are agreed. You will see progress along the way, but the piece is made the way her work is made — intuitively.
- 04
It arrives
Delivered in person in the Detroit area, or shipped fully insured and packed for original artwork.

The more you can tell her, the better she can judge whether it is a fit. Nothing here commits you to anything.
