This policy describes the site as it is currently built. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by an attorney before launch.

Who we are

This site is operated by CameeO Love, LLC, based in Detroit, Michigan, United States.

What is collected

When you buy something

Your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and order contents. Payment is processed by Stripe: card numbers are entered on Stripe’s own payment page and never pass through or get stored on this website. We receive only what Stripe tells us — that the payment succeeded, the last four digits, and the address you gave.

When you contact us

Whatever you put in the contact or commission form: your name, email, optionally a phone number and organisation, and your message.

When you join the Collector’s List

Your email address, and your name if you give one.

Automatically

Standard web server logs, which include IP addresses and are kept for security and troubleshooting. This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and carries no tracking pixels. The only browser storage used is a record of what is in your cart, kept on your own device and never sent anywhere until you check out.

How it is used

• To fulfil and ship your order and to answer questions about it.
• To reply to your enquiry.
• To send occasional emails about new work and exhibitions, if you asked for them.
• To keep proper business and tax records, as required by law.

What is never done

• Your information is never sold.
• Your information is never rented, traded or shared for anyone else’s marketing.
• You are never added to the mailing list because you bought something. Joining is a separate, deliberate action.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the site, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is the data controller for your card details.
• Supabase — the database holding orders, enquiries and subscribers.
• Netlify — hosting and content delivery.
• Resend — sending transactional email such as order confirmations.
• Shipping carriers — your delivery address, so the piece can reach you.

Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.

How long it is kept

• Order records: as long as tax and business law requires, typically seven years.
• Enquiries: up to two years, so a conversation can be picked up again.
• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — subject to records that must legally be retained. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. To make a request, use the contact form.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and information is not knowingly collected from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here. Continuing to use the site after that constitutes acceptance.
