Shipping & returns

To be confirmed by the artist: the returns window, responsibility for return shipping, and international availability are marked below and need Patricia’s decision before launch.

Packing

Original mixed-media work is packed for its surface, not just its size. Pieces with raised elements, beads or heavy impasto are packed so that nothing rests against the painted face in transit.

Shipping

• Work currently ships within the continental United States. Rates are calculated at checkout by destination and are shown before you pay.
• Every shipment is fully insured for the value of the work.
• Pieces are dispatched within 5 business days of your order, and tracking is emailed as soon as the piece is on its way.
• To be confirmed: whether international shipping is offered, and to which countries. It is currently switched off rather than promised and then withdrawn.

Local pickup in Detroit

Collectors in the Detroit area can choose local pickup at checkout at no cost. Patricia will email you to arrange a time. Seeing a piece in person before it goes on your wall is genuinely worth doing with work that has this much surface.

No studio address is published. Pickup arrangements are made privately with each collector.

When your piece arrives

Please open and inspect it as soon as you can. If anything has been damaged in transit, photograph the packaging and the work before unpacking it any further and contact Patricia within 48 hours — the insurance claim depends on those photographs.

Returns

Each original is a one-of-one piece made by hand, so returns are handled personally rather than by a blanket policy.

• Damaged in transit: reported within 48 hours with photographs, this is covered. You will be refunded in full or the claim resolved with you directly.
• Not as described: if the work materially differs from how it was described on this site, contact Patricia and it will be put right.
• Change of mind: to be confirmed. Patricia needs to set the returns window and decide who covers return shipping. Until she does, no window is stated here rather than a made-up one.
• Commissions: commissioned work is made to a brief agreed with you and is to be confirmed as to refundability. This will be set out in your commission agreement before any work begins.

Any authorised return must come back in its original packing, unaltered and undamaged. A refund is issued to the original payment method once the work has arrived and been inspected.

Cancellations

An order can be cancelled for a full refund at any point before it is dispatched. Email Patricia with your order reference and she will action it.

Caring for the work

• Hang out of direct sunlight — acrylic and metallic finishes both fade.
• Avoid damp rooms and radiators; a stable temperature is kinder to a layered surface.
• Dust only with a dry, soft brush. Never use water, solvents or household cleaners on a mixed-media surface.
• If a raised element ever comes loose, keep it and contact Patricia rather than repairing it yourself.
